The last drifts of snow are melting here in the UK, the weather oscillates above and below freezing each day, so I hear you when you say not warm enough for the Roadster yet 

But the sun and warmer weather will be here eventually and it'll be top down all the way to the office each day!

Down here in the southern hemisphere it's going the other way. From a beautiful summer into a cooler autumn, soon (in 3-ish months) to be a chilly winter.

I like uniqueness, so last year I got myself a Smart Roadster Brabus (apparently there are less than 500 left on the road). It's a light, nippy turbo'd 0.7cc. Goes like the clappers! I absolutely love it, the most amazing driving experience, triptronic gears, lots of extras, and the electric soft top is awesome. I can get 54 mpg (5.23 litres/100km) out of her when driving sanely so she's cheap to run, but when up for fun the 0-60mph is better than most things on the road. I love my car and I love telling people about it.

That is an interesting car.  Smart is made by Mercedes, right?  But this one was for the UK market only?  or was it?  I don't think it made it across the pond.

Smart has its origins in a DaimlerChrysler venture, but it's loaded with Mercedes technology and sold at Mercedes outlets.

It's a very European car, but there aren't so many in the UK, and very few outside of Europe. I know of a handful in Australia for example. Smart's motto is "Compact and forward thinking", and I think the compact part conflicts with American expectations from cars so it's doubtful there are any/many in the States.

There are so few around that when you do pass another out on the road you end up waving frantically at them, and they (usually) wave crazily back 🙂

It's not a perfect car by any means, there's plenty Smart could do to improve it, especially in the gearbox design, but it has such a wonderful charm that I can't imagine ever selling it.

Looking outside this morning I see sunshine for the first time in ages. Might be an opportunity to put the top down (and the heated seats on too perhaps) 😉

Its a BMW M-Roadster.  2 seater.  6 speed manual. Soft-top.  Goes like a bat-outta-h3ll..  But fun at low speeds too.  😄

Looks like a Z4, but handles a bit different.

There's a photo of it in the champs section.

For rainy or winter days, it's a 335.  🙂

That's a great Roadster, certainly quicker than mine. If I could afford something like that I might have bought one, maybe one day yet
