I've never been upset with a customer solving their own issues on the phone, it's just less work for me.
It's probably more of a relief with a call coming from one of our champions as well. I know a few users who call in where it's like, if you don't know the answer what the heck am I going to do.

Funny how just starting a new LLC, purchasing real estate, and spending a few days out of town can eat away at your spare time.
in the video above (it is about 15 minutes so be warned) I share the drive between my place and the new/old house and my attempts to get a sump pump running. While it is not recorded in tht video, the sump pump did finally start working and the basement/crawlspace has been pumped out. Now the real surprise came the next day when we found an old-school well in the basement. No not just a pipe sticking of the floor but a 4' diameter brick lined well that had most likely been hand dug. How deep is the well? Who knows! We will learn more as we work a our way around the house and installing cinder blocks as we convert the crawlspace into a proper basement.
I am planning to act as the safety director for the Demo-Party scheduled for this coming Saturday and will be harping on all of he attendees to stay safe as the "walls come a tumbling down".
I will of course be recording a video of that event.

Well now that you mention it, So have I. So are you old enough to remember the Saturday morning show named "onomatopoeia"? Funny how the brain connects things... and moving from something innocent and silly to the definition of monster.

I could probably drill here, but it might turn into an oil well. 😄

Have you signed any paper work on that oil yet?
I have a guy that may be able to advise. While he specializes in the fracking around west PA he may be able to advise for your area. He is helping one of my old buddies that has 2.25. acres and has been approached about his rights.
PM and let me know if I can help.

I have to read the terms of the title again, but I think mineral rights are expressively excluded. 😞
Wouldn't want to turn my backyard into a tar pit anyway. 😮

Since I like in "Frackland" let me show what well sites look like.
The image above shows Trax Farms which just over the hill from my place. They sell to city folk that drive out city to get high end vegetables etc. The red arrow shows the well they put in to augment the farm income. This was from about 4 years ago. Since then the drilling has been completed and you can barely make out the well.
The gun club I belong to also has a well that brings in money for the club. The well is shown up-close in the image above.
Far from a tar pit.
Shame you do not have mineral rights though.
Take care,
Ben
