I wasn't sure what board to post this on, so I picked breakpoint. I figure most of the people here are grumpy old folks like myself... so this as much a rant as anything else.
About a week ago I was going through my normal process of installing the software suite on a new tester. It is standard practice for me to just hit evaluate every installation until the very end to avoid going through the activation process multiple times. This time around it triggered something new and I've been getting emails from Emerson telling me to sign up for their NI courses, pointing me to "getting started" guides, etc. I ignored the first 2, but I'll admit I'm starting to get annoyed. Not a fan at all.
After the 3rd one, I almost sent back a snarky email but decided to go the more polite route and just say no thanks.
Anyone else run into this? What are your thoughts on it?
