Why Edit time limited to 5 minutes only

Hi All,

         This thread is simply created as I want to know why the Edit Time in Forum is limitted to 5 minutes only??

          I think,anytime the fellow Labviewers may think "oho...I want to edit my post,but the time expaired.

         So I personally suggest not to limit the Edit Time...What is your openion,other Labviewers????

This should probably be moved to the Feedback on Discusion forum board but...

I can not speak to if the following still applies...

initally we could not edit our post so the ability to edit them was an accomodation made for us. The time limt is in place becuase the LabVIEW forum has/had a mirror site and sycronizing the two sites got complicated.

I believe the limit is larger for the Breakpoint (I have not tested it lately so please forgive if I am wrong) becuase it has less traffic or is not mirroed or something like that.

I would whole heartedly second your suggestion to increase the edit time if it was possible.

The edit time is actually 10 minutes.  I haven't seen an instance yet where any particular forum has a different time limit.
