Come on England!
They had better raise their game substantially...

Yep they better had, although I am quietly optimistic....Oh why is it so painfull watchng England play.
3 Lions!

USA! USA!
I can't believe they pulled that off... in extra time!
They are probably responsible for at least 30 or so heart attacks around the country
And everything worked out in such a way that now they have won group C!

As Gary Linekar said on the BBC commentary... "If America doesnt fall in love with football after that then i dont think they ever will". You also got over the "Hand of God" again with another disallowed goal. plus you hit the woodwork twice! Good game USA.
I was also sweating a lot during the England game although it looks like the team is finally coming together. More like their qualifying games this time round. Hope Rooney hasnt done his ankle in again.
Hopefully we get Ghana leaving you Germany in the next round hehe 🙂

I was nervous that either the USA or England would advance, due to the circumstances.
But it worked out so they both move ahead.
Couldn't have worked out any better!

My throat is sore.
REALLY sore.
And I think I tore half my hair out.
U-S-A!!! U-S-A!!
Cory, I was one of those heart attacks. I am so grateful that Donovan didn't shank that ball over the net like so many of his teammates would have in those circumstances. Cool as the proverbial cucumber. (There IS a proverb about a cucumber, isn't there? ) This team will be the death of me. Now we don't have to focus any energy on the fact that Dempsey was not offsides.
Congratulations to England as well! I'm pulling for you guys too, unless of course we play you again. (unlikely at best)
YEEEEEEHAAAAAA!!!!
Yes, sorry for the yelling, but that's how I feel at the moment.

Did she tip Australia for a win against Serbia?
She expects a 1:1. My tip is a 0:1 for Serbia. (That tip is 14 days old. And none of my tips for Australia became the truth...)
Happy watching on the TV, Guenter

If you don't think it is fun to play until there is a winner, without some silly tie breaker, you should be following the Isner-Mahut tennis match right now. Almost 10 hours and counting.
Edit: Now suspended until tomorrow, bummer.
