I almost put this in the thread for last night, then I almos put up a thread "software from December meeting" but decided that naming the thread after the function I am uploading would be most useful.
I've attached a little utility we use here to resize front panels to bounds extracted from controls you pass in as references. I've seen this used to just bound a tab control and cases where it was creatively used to bound hidden booleans to size the panel to something that wasn't visibly obvious. I hope that some of you find this useful and please let me know if you find improvements or issues with this code. I used the save to previous version to backlevel this from 2010 to 8.6 and we've been using this function since 7.x so it should be possible to save it back further if the need really arises.
