Simple game

Hi,

My name is David. I am new to LabVIEW. This my first submission to a user group. I guess you have to start somewhere. I am submitting a simple game that I created. It is based on some logic that I saw in the cRIO user guide. My company is considering ordering a cRIO. I am excited about the idea of using one.

The game tests a user's reaction time. If you can press all the buttons in 10 secs. You win.

I think Chicago news a user's group. I hope this group flourishes.

BR,

David

Hi David, thanks for being the first post!  I think we're missing the "Elapsed Timer Locals.vi" from the game.  Looks like it's probably using the Elapsed time VI to keep trackof how much time has passed.

Did you end up getting a cRIO?

Hi Chris,

Yes, we did. I am trying to develop a system that controls a fuel cell and displays data on a touch panel computer. Things are going OK. Our system uses a NI-9012 (cRIO), NI-9114 (8-slot chassis), TPC-2106T (touch screen), 2 NI-9472s (DC power flow control), NI-9221 (analog input: Hydrogen sensor), and a NI-9234 (for 1-axis accelerometer).

If hydrogen leakage or vehicle impact are encountered, the FC will shut down. This is not for an OEM related system. It is a demonstration of a low powered fuel cell (1kW) in an all electric powered vehicle. We are running LabVIEW 2009 with FPGA, real time and touch panel modules.

It is fun learning the materials.

David
