Hello all, we are setting up a OCT imaging system using PCIe 6361 as our DAQ card and PCI1428 as our IMAQ card. Considering our camera device (a line scan camera from e2v) is using CameraLink as serial interface, which is supported and configured successfully with CommonCam and labview software, we are trying to configure the camera with an open source automated microscope operating software called “micro manager”.
I do notice there is some info with respect to serial interface functions for these cards. But there is no more info provided in term of their programming aspect, more specifically about the device driver development. I have no experience with writing any device driver before, so can anyone give me some advice in terms of what aspect should I focus on to develop a device adapter that mimic the configuration mechanism between the PCI1428 and PCIe6361 with the camera itself? Is it possible to access the source code documentation for these cards for reference as a developer? Thanks for helping me out!
