I am working on an application using the PCI 6024E card where the card keeps locking up and will not read data from one of the counters (Dev1/ctr0) until the DAQ card is reset, it does however keep outputing a pulse from the other counter (Dev1/ctr1) while the ctr0 is frozen (or seems to be frozen). I am running Labwindows/CVI 2010 and NI-DAQmx 9.2.3. The data going into ctr0 is a pulse train at 19.9 Hz with a 3 ms pulse width and 4.7 V peak to peak. The DAQ card usually locks up after 1k to 4k pulses. We are using the counter to measure the period between the rising edge of each pulse and the preceding pulse.
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue or could offer tips on how to keep the DAQ card from locking up. Thanks!
