C functions for 6602 digital filtering

Using the 6602 and borland c++.  Wanted to turn on the built in digital filtering.  The hardware manual discusses the basic function of this but I can't find any reference to how to do it using daqmx and C.  There is nothing in the daqmx documentation (c reference or examples) and can't find anything on the ni site either.  Could someone provide some info or point me anything to provides some insite or better yet the function calls.

There is an example on ni.com called DAQmx - Using Filters with TIO Counters for Digital Event Counting - LabVIEW - CVI - ANSI C that shows how to enable the filter using event counting. Even if you don't want to do event counting, you want to measure frequency for example, this example will give you the basic idea of how to set it up. Have a great day!
