Can I combine a PFI9-counter and a digital line P0.7 to create a triggered encoder?

Hi, I am using a BNC-2110, a NI-DAQcard6036E and LabView7.0. I want to create an encoder. For this I want to use the PFI9 line as start-trigger for the A-channel and the P0.7 line for the B-Channel to check the direction of the application. The Application should, when the A-Channel has an increasing edge check the B-channel. If it is sill 0, the motor turns forward, if it is alread 1, it turns backwards.
For several days I was not sucessful in combining the triggers with the digital I/O functions. Does anybody has an idea? ......

Hello Matthias,

unfortunately, there is no possibillity to trigger a Digital input with your card.

But you could trigger an analog Waveformoutput and check the status of a digital Line at the same time.

I have written a small example using traditional DAQ-VIs. Just see the attachment.
