Disturbed signal

Hi i'm trying to read with signal express a 5V ttl signal generated by a function generator, but what i see on the screen is very disturbed signal. Could somebody please tell me why?

Hello Pollon,

Did you create the signal from LabVIEW and then you tried to read it with Signal Express? Could you post the file?

Thank you for the error documentation, it's very useful. My question is if the first acquisition step give you a corrupted measure or only the formula step returns this triangle wave. Did you try acquire different waveform?

Hi, i tried to measure different kind of signals but every time there was a disturbed signal. Anyway it's the first acquistion step thet gives me the disturbed signal. The connection wire may be a problem?

Hi, i want to specify that the tringle wave is the signal that i want to measure but without all those spikes.

Hello Paul,

Of course, the wiring connections procedure could be a critical aspect of the noise generation on your signals. Please refer to this document to check the suitability of your wiring configuration:
