Hello all, I'm currently asked to renew an old test bench built in 2006 which was using a PCI-6601 DAQ board together with R6868 cable and CB68LP connector block.
Suggested replacement is PCIe-6612 which as far as I can see can be connected again with a R6868+CB68LP.
I'm aware that the old card was using the old NI-DAQ driver, and I will need to convert the program to DAQmx: this is not a problem.
My question is at hardware level: are the accessories that I should buy now exactly the same as the ones I bought in 2006? That is: can I simply move the cable from the old board to the new one and work only at the SW level or do I need to also buy a new cable and/or a new connector block and perform some adaptation in the hardware?

As long as the signal mapping on the connector of both the cards matches, you're good to reuse the same accessories.
Yes, they are directly compatible in terms of accessories - https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/cable-accessory-guide/daq-multifunction-i-o-cable-access...

Thank you Santhosh, in the meanwhile I arrived at the same page as yours, but it's good to be corroborated in my findings.
