Trigger delay is ignored in AI Start

I want to delay my post-trigger data acquisition by using "delay" in the additional trigger params input of AI Start.vi, but AI Start ignores it. Riverside Consulting, LLC posted the same question on 12/10/2002 and Spencer S gave him a link to an example program, which demonstrates how to implement a digital trigger delay. Unfortunately, I can´t view that link.
I am using a PCI-6023E device, LabView 5.0, Windows 98 and a digital trigger hardware (pulse C of a quadrature encoder).
How can I implement a digital trigger delay? Does somebody know which example program Spencer S refers to?
I appeciate your help.

Hello Wayuu,

probably the program Spencer S refers to is a DMM or Scope program. Those devices allow to define a Trigger Delay.
For E-series, you can check the output of the actual trigger parameters, which will confirm you the real value used for the trigger delay (this is a Hardware dependant feature).
As far as i know, this value is always ignored on E-series boards.
