Thanks for the link.  I had already read that article, and it is for Labview 7.0, and I am running 2012.  The article calls out some things that are not in LV2013, so, it is somewhat obsolete.  It is also quite general, and could be written in higher level detail to be much more useful.  Thanks for the offering, though.

OK, I got rid of the error 50103 by adding the Counter Input Terminal to the property node.  Thanks.  Solved!

hey i am using proximity sensor with connection to 14,16 and 1 pins of NI 9401.From test panel i checked sensor getting supply but when i run my labview program sensors light turns off and unnamed task error coming.Please help me.
