What is the cause of a -10401 error on the counter control if it's been working for weeks?

I'm using LabVIEW 6.0, a NI 6025E board, and I'm receiving an error -10401 on the Counter Control. The software was running fine until I changed some non-counter VI's. Now it seems to work intermittently. I have configured the board with M&A Explorer and believe I have the correct drivers. I'm running under Win98.

I would recommend testing your counters in MAX using Test panels to help narrow the issue. Next I would then try and run one of the examples in LabVIEW that is doing the same counter operation you are performing in your application for example, simple event counting. Find out if you are still getting the same error. This will narrow in on where the error is occuring and why.
