arrays updating manually

Hello,
so, I have a continuous stream of data (in an array) . And I want to pick out one row with using a button. That means getting this row, putting into another array.
So, I want to do that for n values while I still have my data stream for a DAQ-card. At the end, I want to write it to file. My problem is now, getting this second array to work.
It just replaces the values somehow. I created already an counter for the button, i am pressing. somehow, getting these new values into that array doesn't work.

It's hard to tell what you're doing with this screenshot.  Could you post your program?
