counter 6221 6023e

Hello

I put this question becouse after contact Portugal NI we told me that if i can count samething with 6023E board using counters so is also possible do the same thing with 6221E Board.

However i have a problem with this because i can´t measure the pulses from a  (PMT with 50meV), but withthe board 6023E i dont have any kind of problem and works very well.

Anibody can give me an idea, or explain how i dont have problems with the board 6023E.

Could you send the VIs you developped for your application in order for my to try reproducing your issues ? Did you try updating your DAQmx drivers ?

Hello

In fact i don´t try update the drivers this because in fact the board 6221M mesure. The board is working when i test with TTL signal from a signal source. 

The problem appears when i try measure a signal from my PMT (Photomultiplier). I can understand this behaviour if  the counter work just with TTL signals. But i dont understant why the board 6023E works with different signals and in this case with signals from my PMT. 

And another question, could be this problem corelated with the impedance of the counter.
