daqmx write

Hi anyone

I am trying to set the pulsewidth and period of a continuous pulse train on the fly. I looked at an advanced example given in the advanced data acquisition series on the zone.ni.com site that demostrates the changing of the duty cycle of a continuous pulse train on the fly.
I adapted this example to try do it on a pulse train specified as a time channel (only real difference), and keep on getting a 200459 error ("write failed - because there are no output channels on this task") coming from the DAQmx write block. Is this a bug? Or have I done something wrong?

(The vi's are attached)

Sorry - my error. I did not connect the "continuous" box to the DAQmx timing control.

Hello Ian,
I'm glad you got your program up and running.  For anyone else reading this thread, the tutorial Ian mentioned is here:  Advanced Data Acquisition Series – Pulse Width Modulation in NI LabVIEW Using NI-DAQmx
