problem in starting frequency counter

can you help me in programming my counter, i tried to read from my counter, but every time it tells me that the device i chosed is not the correct for this type of count, simply i want to count an rpm of shaft and i want a program that will be able to work my counter, and what is the best type.

Please provide additional information about which board (hardware) you are using? What is the exact error number you are getting back?

the hardware am using is an rpm sensor .. and the error is 104301 i think 🙂

Which NI data acquisition board, e.g. PCI-6070, etc. are you using? Depending on which board you are using only certain VIs in LabVIEW will support specific functionality on that board. This is independent of your sensor or signal.

Hello;

The best way to go about that is by starting the development with one of the Labview shipping examples. To have the correct example oppened, you need to figure out the DAQ board model you are using, and then open the Labview VI supported by that device.

Thank you very much , i over come that problem ... my new problem is that when i choose different channel it always give me (1) channel only in the DAQ so how can i put two different channels ... one for load and one for rpm ...
