reset counter 6601

In my application I'm working by examples of type "Count Digitl Events..." because i have to count in a  interval time. But in this examples the counter accumulate and make to grow the result number. Instead i want a counter that in every cycle begins to count from zero. What can I do it ? How can I modify the examples in disposition for my aim ?
Thanks

An Applications Engineer is working on this issue and has proposed you a solution. You need to use the Z index to reset the counter. It is fairly easy and well documented with the NIDAQmx driver.
