very long pulse width measurement with time stamp logged into spreadsheet file

i want to measure long pulse widths (longer than 10 hours) which might have interruptions using labview 4.1 with a lab pc board. the vi should be able to continue counting time after an interrution cummulatively, if possible a time stamp can be included to indicate at which time there was an interruption and when there wasn't any, this information should be logged into a spreadsheet file. please help
