DAQ express

Hello,

I am using DAQ express. I want to record 4 inputs at the same time but cant find a way, is this possible?

I have 4 separate tasks created at the moment and can only run or record 1 at a time

I assume you mean the DAQ Assistant?

Yes, you can select multiple channels within a single DAQ Assistant.  Hold down control, or shift and click when you select the physical channels.

Or once you are past the initial setup screen, click the Add button.

The bottom left of the first window even gives you instructions!

You cannot use 4 different tasks.  They need to be a single task with 4 channels.  This is easily done with DAQ Express.  From the task panel, there is a nice big "Create New Input" where the current channels are listed.  There is also a "Duplicate Channel" button there to make configurations a little faster.

For those not in the know, DAQExpress is basically a very scaled down version of LabVIEW NXG that is available for free with any DAQ purchase.  It does require a login to NI's server to run.

I have never heard of this product before.  This message should probably be moved to a different forum since it seems to not truly have anything to do with LabVIEW.

EDIT:  Yep.  Who would've thought? It has its own board.  DAQExpress   Looks like the first message was created only 2 years ago.
