DDE output to excel problem with synch. data

Dear friends,

I am going to save my raw and DASYLAB processed data to MS excel as well. But when I provide the communication via DDE output module, It shows error oon various IN/Out modules while the measurement still going on!!

The problem rises when I try to send the time-base-synchronized data to MS EXcel (i.e.. DDE output 00 at the figure). Without that, and only with the DDEOUTPUT01, the measurement goes on with no error/warning! But I need the synch. data, b/c the data rate of the in/out modules are not same.

I would appreciate any help and suggestions.

What's the error?

What are the time base settings in the TimeBase, Generator and RS232 Input modules?

When combining data from the four different data sources, you need to ensure that they are all using the same timebase (sample rate, block size, synchronization).

Can you post the actual worksheet?

An editted version is attached.

The error says "the data stream is blocked by one of the following modules" and it only happens when I read the time set at DDEOUTPUT with synch. data. As it appears, the Excel file stops updating untill I click OK on error box. But after a while, it appears again with some other module name on it (e.g. time Synch. gas flowrate, etc.).

I really need the time of each synch. measurement.

So the Time base module and the MFC volt module are both generating data at 11,025 samples/sec, while the Entry Press and out flow modules are running at 1 sample/second.

You need to change the driver timebase to 1 sample / second to match.
