Daqboard 2000 on dasylab 2020

Solved!

I have recently had a catastrophic break down of an old XP computer with Dasylab on it. i am at looking at upgrading to Dasylab 2020 but i have downloaded the demo and am unable to get any drivers to work for the old OMB Daqboard that i have. The board drivers appear to work but i cannot link them into Dasylab. I have had then Daqboard working using LabView OK. Does any body know of a work around to link the drivers to the new Dasylab as i have a complexed test program that i would rather not rewrite in LABView at present ? There is a similar work around at this location

But i am am unable to locate a similar DasyLab DSB file for Daqboard

For DASYLab 2020 or DASYLab 2016, the customer must enable the Omega Engineering OMB/OM driver via the Configurator utility.  After the installer has run and the Configurator utility has closed, set the DASYLab.exe program to run as an administrator. To do this, use file explorer and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\DASYLab 2106\. Right-mouse click DASYLab.exe and choose Properties. The setting is on the Compatibility tab.

Next, the Omega Engineering OMB/OM driver should have added a program folder called DASYLab Support Drivers. Using the Windows Start button programs list, open this folder and run the DaqX Configuration Utility. Use it to add a DaqBoard/2000 to the system configuration. To test the board, click the Test Hardware tab and run the Resource Test. Close the utility and start DASYLab.

From the Measurement menu, go to Hardware Setup-->Driver. Press Add to add the DaqBoard/2000 to the configuration. Close the dialog and restart DASYLab. To access the DaqBoard/2000 features, use the Module menu and go to Inputs/Outputs-->Driver.

The reason it didn't work was because i only had the trial version of Dasylab at the time.

Thankyou

The DASYLab 2020 evaluation serial number limits the features available. Apparently the only legacy driver allowed is the Demo driver. As IOtech is a legacy driver, it would not load.

Generally, now that I know that... contact your reseller for an evaluation code that enables the legacy driver.
