DASYLab gives you precise control of the sample distance, the time between samples. With most DAQ cards, it is equidistant -- for example a 1000 s/sec sample rate yields 1 ms sample distance, the delta-t. You can reduce this sample rate, or increase the sample distance using Average or other data reduction functions.
The duration of the integral operation can be defined in two ways. By default, it is a running operation. You can specify it to reset on block boundaries, where you can define the block size and the number of blocks.
In addition, you can use a control input to reset the integral operation. This will allow more control, as it can reset in the middle of a block, based on data conditions that you specify.
