Digital I/O on/off backwards

I am new to DasyLab and need some basic help with Digital IO. 

I have a simple IO turning on a  5amp solidstate relay.   From within Dayslab I send +5v to the port, this causes the port to turn off, is that normal?

I have DasyLab 10
