Hello,
I´m trying to calculate separately the RMS in the concentric and excentric phase of the movement - I have the channel 0 with the electrogoniometer information and channel 1 with the Eletromiography (EMG) information. Since there are several movement repetitions the statistics module has to reset and start calculating the RMS again for each time, and send all this information to a list.
This is what I´ve tried so far: (Calculating the concentric phase) - I´m using the action module to reset the statistics module calculation, the event that makes the action happen is a rising edge, generated by a minimum and maximum module (that is set to output a TTL HIGH signal for the minimum values, that represents the beggining of the concentric phase). In the statiscts module the EMG information (channel 1) enters and goes to an adapt time module (set to linear interpolation - otherwise there is a temporal problem), after the adapt time module the information goes to a relay module with a control input and then to a list. The relay is being used to "cut" only the concentric part of the movement and output the multiple values in the list. The control input for the relay is being generated by a min/max module (that is set to output a TTL HIGH signal for the maximum values, that represents the end of the concentric phase).
When comparing the RMS values in the list with the data using the survey mode in the chart recorder, there is always some correct and some incorrect values (most incorrect).
I have doubts about the linear interpolation function and about using in the action module the synchronous or asynchronous option.
It would be awesome if someone could help! thank you very much!
Best Regards,
Pedro Valadão.
