The frequency range needed for this test requires a 10 kHz sampling rate.
The test is stepped through a number of vibration levels during which all inputs will be held static for a 10 second sampling. Up to 250 steps will be collected.
The data is collected using DASYlab and fft’ed to the frequency domain.
From each 10 second step one peak to peak resultant is required.
Because the fft output is normalized from zero it appears the peak-to-peak in this case is actually the maximum. Is there any other way to do peak-to-peak with frequency results?
The big problem is to take the 100 000 samples and get a single result.
None of the averaging or block averaging or statistics or summing modules gives usable outputs. For example, when a meter or bar or chart or recorder are put before and after the summing/averaging/statistical module only the meter/bar/chart/recorder before the “summing” module shows any values. And if the output of the “summing” module is saved to disk the resultant file is empty – no data.
How do you display/save/write data from the averaging/block averaging/statistical modules?
