shift register

I made a small worksheet using the shfit register. i dont understand why I'm not seeing anything output to the digital displat from the register. I'm using DasyLab version 12.0. In measurement setup I've tried different sample rates and block sizes. I tried differnt register sizes as well. Can you explain why I don't see an output?

I think that it's looking for a Rising Edge (I know, not clear from the Help).

When I toggle the switch, the current value gets added to the output block.

Hmmm.. Perhaps the shift register is not the best way to accomplish what I want. Let me start from the beginning. I have a larger worksheet in the lab that is collecting data from 2 IO Tech 3k modules, one that has the IO Tech expansion pack. I'm using DasyLab Lite V12. While the worksheet is running and collecting data I want to:

Click a control (switch) that would initiate buffering ~60 seconds of data that could be averaged and the averaged values displayed. I'm only interested in data from 2 channels and I want to see the average of that data over a time period that I can initiate by clicking the mouse. I do not want to stop or interrupt the worksheet while it's collecting data from the same 2 channels or any of the other channels.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Craig

Are you sure that you have DASYLab Lite? You have the Switch, which is not in Lite.

Do you have the Combi Trigger module?
