SP7 - S7 support and license information

Dear all,

I'm writing you in order to get some information for a customer of mine, interested in you product:

• In S7-1200 currently supported? If no, are you going to support it in the next releases of the toolkit?
• Which is the policy for the developer licence? In the case the developer is a single person, it is possible to install the sw on 3 machine as for std NI llicenses?

Hello rivand,

We currently don´t support S7-1200 but we are looking forward to implement the support of more PLC´s in the next releases! In order to ensure this you can download the 30 day trial version and test your needs.

There are two types of Licenses for SP7.

1. developer License ( up to 3 installations)

2. Runtime License (usage for every PLC you communicate with)

In your case 1 developer License and x Runtime Licenses is needed.
