REPORT Graph options

Status: Declined

Hello

Thank you for your request. We understand your suggestion but given the age of this entry and the fact that just a few sponsors are supporting it, we have decided to decline this suggestion and prefer to develop more frequently requested features instead. We hope you understand this.

Greetings

Walter

I would like to have a option to set default properties.

For example: I need default 0.7 curve width, change default color scheme for axis system, etc. On dialog boxes should be a Set as default button.

I would like to change multiple curve properties at once.

Means to select several curves and switch display mode to spikes, or set another line style, etc.

I read through the list to see if anyone suggested this.  The default for DIAdem Report is thin lines, blue font, etc.  I want black text, 0.5 lines, and a certain fixed size chart (2 from top, 8 from left, bottom, and right).  I would love to be able to make a chart and then set all parameters (although not necessarily axis range) to the default so that I don't have to do this for every chart I make or copy an existing chart and paste it into a new sheet.   Thanks!

Hi SCXI,

You can set the default TDR file loaded when DIAdem starts, and you can set the default TDR file (one sheet) that gets used every time you click the "New layout" icon to start a new session.  You can also append any TDR from disk onto the end of your current REPORT session.  You can also save your favorite REPORT object configurations behind the standard REPORT object icons, so it seems to me you have quite a few options.  I support the idea of being able to preset the curve settings that get used when you drag channels from the Data Portal onto a VIEW or REPORT graph.  In REPORT you can actually have a UserCommand run on drag&drop to achieve this with programming, but that's not an option in VIEW as of DIAdem 2011.
