Anekhoda,
Where are you seeing this error message pop up? During install or when trying to run it?

When I'm trying to run it. Is this service pack for DIAdem 11 or 11.1? I'm trying to install it over DIAdem 11.

Hello anekhoda,
There are Service Packs for both DIAdem 11 and DIAdem 11.1 that can be found at this link:
http://search.ni.com/nisearch/app/main/p/bot/no/ap/tech/lang/en/pg/2/sn/catnav:du,n8:4.27,ssnav:sup/
Please make sure that you download the correct service pack for your version of DIAdem. Sorting the above list by release date makes it a little easier to find the correct version from the list.
Hope this helps,
Otmar

Hallo Otmar,
I am not able to install Diadem 11.1 from the link you have given in this post. When I run the .exe file, it shows the following error
I have many .LPD files (from my colleague's data). Now I need to open these layout files to modify (since I am not able to get all the original data from him) the curve color and font size to publish the results in a scientific paper.
But I am not able to install the 11.1 Diadem to open these files. My operating system is Windows
I know "It is helpful to note, that as of the current version of Diadem (Diadem 11.1), you can open .LPD
files. This makes the REPORT view backward compatible. Remember, you cannot save into .LPD
format from the newer versions of Diadem".
Could you please help me to solve the problem?
Thank you,

Hello Nicholas,
What exact version of Windows are you using?
DIAdem 11.1 supports up to Windows 7 - the only version that currently supports Windows 8 is DIAdem 2012 SP1.
With regards to your LPD files, another way to help you there is to write a Script that will convert all these old LPD files to TDR files and you could work with the TDR files in DIAdem 2012. That should be relatively easy for someone with DIAdem 11.1 to do, including someone here at NI. Let me know if that would be a solution for you as well.
Best regards,
Otmar

Hallo Otmar,
Thank you very much for your kind and fast reply.
I use Windows 7 Enterprise Edition. Operating system is 64 bit. (Sorry for not mentioning it in my previous post).
I would be happy and relieved (if it is possible) if you could help me to convert these old LPD files to TDR files by writing a script. Then I can work with TDR files in DIAdem 2012.
I prefer this option but I do not know anyone who could write a Script in DIAdem 11.1.
Is it possible that I can send you the LPD files?
Thank you in advance,
