Can't make grid appear above data in 3D surface plot

Hello all,

Try as I might I cannot get a grid in the XY plane to appear visible above the Z data in a 3D surface plot. It doesn't matter what value I put in the 'offset along 3rd axis' box or whether I put the z origin at the minimum or maximum value, the grid is always hidden beneath the surface when looking straight on to the XY plane. Any ideas?

EDIT: Incidentally, as a second 'bug', you can set the grid spacing freely until you add a coordinate point. At that point DIAdem reverts to its preferred value and won't accept alternatives.
