Cannot filter data after clearing data portal

When I bring in a large data file to the portal, clear it, then load in another data file, the channel filter function does not work any more.  Any ideas what's going on?

Somehow, all channels got pinned, and I didn't recognize the pin icon.  My mistake, thanks for reading.
