DIAdem 14: Marker are fix at a curve?

Hello,

in the past i worked with DIAdem 8.
After i was setting the marker on the curve it was possible to scrolling between a area and the marks in the area runs from point to point at the curve.
In the older system the marks were running by during i scrolled on the button.
Isn´t this funktion in DIAdem 14?
Please could you explain it how to use it correctly or is it the normal way in the one?

Have a great thanks

Hi,

If I understand your question correctly, you want DIAdem to jump from sample to sample point while moving the vertical cursor in VIEW module, right?

In DIAdem 2014 you can accomplish this by chosing the "Crosshair Cursor" with "Curve Cursor" option.

If there are multiple curves in your 2D-Axis System you need to set one curve as "leading curve".

Let me know if there's anything else.

Hello Christian,

thanks for your answer. But this isn´t the problem. I describe my Problem step tor step....
I  put the Marker in the curve. After that  i  push the scrolling button.
NOW the Marker are fix on the curve, in the past the marker wasn´t fix. The Marker jumped form Datapoint to Datapoint in a defined distance.
This funktion isn´t running in DIAdem 14. And now i want to know is it normal or do you have the funktion?

Best regards DIAtester

Hi DIAtester,

Actually I don't see the different behavior between DIAdem 8.1 and 2014.

What do you mean by jumping markers? Markers are attached to datapoints and do not jump...

When using band cursors and enable scrolling in another 2D Axis System, it's normal behavior that markers stay attached to datapoints. This behavior can be observed in both DIAdem versions.

Walters example in this thread also shows expected behavior:
