DIAdem Base Edition 2015: Why cannot open saved file after installed on a new PC.

I bought a DIAdem software in 2017, and it was installed on several computers.

 

Recently, I installed it on a new PC, Both of Installation and activation were successful.

When I use this new PC to open the saved files, there is no curve or data showed in the view area (Pls.refer to the attached screenshot). but the other severl computers which installed the software earlier are okay.

 

I'd very appreciate your comments if it is helpful to settle this problem.

Hi ujs412,

 

What "saved files" were you loading into the newer DIAdem 2017 installation?  Your screenshot shows a particular VIEW layout, so I'm guessing you loaded a *.TDV file to get that.  In order to see data in this VIEW layout, though, you also need to load a data file into DIAdem.  What file format is your data in, typically?  You may be missing the required DataPlugin on the computer that DIAdem 2017 is installed on, whereas that DataPlugin could be installed on the computers that have DIAdem 2015 on them.  If you try to load a data file into any DIAdem version on a computer where the required DataPlugin is NOT installed/registered, the load will fail, and any VIEW layout will show empty like this.
