this is a normal behaviour from the export assistent. You could delete it in excel, from DIAdem you can´t change any options.

Your other option is to use ActiveX calls in a VBScript to insert the new values cell-by-cell back into the Excel spreadsheet. You have to program it, and for lots of data the transfer speed won't be fast, but with this method you have ultimate control over which columns/cells get written and which don't.
Note that if you have the Excel spreadsheet open when you try to access it via the ActiveX VBScript, the VBScript will throw an error-- Excel will not let any other application touch an Excel file it has open. Check out the example VBScript attached below.
