Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a DIAdem data-plug-in for Agilent AgtDB.mdb files?
Kind Regards,

Ray,
I do not see a plugin for the Agilent specific .mdb files available for DIAdem (ni.com/dataplugins). There is a plugin for the Microsoft Data Base (.mdb) extension, but I wasn't able to get that to load your file properly so I presume its in a different format.
Therefore we do have a couple options. First we could go to the DataPlugins site and request a new data plugin for this format (you will be required to submit a sample file or two). Second you can write your own plugin using the DataPlugins reference manual. Third, if the file is known in an ASCII format (a text file) but has a custom layout, we might be able to use the ASCII importer within DIAdem to open the data. Lastly there is still a definite possibility someone out there has a plugin for this file and they will be able to provide this for your use.

John,
Thanks. I will explore all of these suggestions. Please note: when I try to open this file in Access 2007 it prompts me for a password. Could this be why it is not loading?

Hi Roy,
Yes, that could be it. Can you successfully supply a password and look at the file in Access? If so, then DIAdem ought to be able to treat this as an Access database file as well. There are several methods for loading Access database data into DIAdem, and all of them can accommodate a user name and password.

John,
I am waiting to hear back from Agilent. If I do not hear back from them I will crack it.
Thanks,
Roy
