Windows 10, intel i7, LabVIEW 2019 SP1
I have installed DIAdem 2019 to take the 'DIAdem Basics' online training.
The training has me right clicking on a folder in Navigator to 'Add Search Area'. I tried this and did not get a popup screen to complete the task and the folder is not in the search area.
Upon further investigation I have found that under Settings - My DataFinder, Configure and Optimize Custom Properties is ghosted.
I have tried resetting DataFinder. I have tried uninstall & reinstall DIAdem.
I did, at some point, receive this error message.

Sorry to say no solution here, just empathy.
But - I found your post - right after I posted mine - with the same issue. I did the same - complete uninstall / reinstall, but still the same behavior.
I'll keep an eye out for replies to your post. Mine is titled: DataFinder not installed correctly with DIAdem 2019 SP1 ?
Yeah - it's kinda hard to get through the training when we're stuck at exercise 2-1....
Cheers,

Hey Guys,
First off, please don't stop the training due to this problem. There are a couple of exercises that use the DataFinder, but 95% of them are just... load a data file with drag&drop, then start manipulating the data. It's pretty much just chapter 2 that deals explicitly with the DataFinder.
Second, here's the link to my initial suggestions for this wounded "My DataFinder" issue.
