Diadem - Read LoggeShared Variable Data

I have Boolean and Numeric Shared Variables and Enabled Logging.

I can read using the MAX, with MAX i can just read the data but i want to do some mathmathics with my data,  how i can read my Logged Data using  DIAdem,

In the help, i can see that we can read channel groups and channels.

How to Write Shared Variables in Channel Groups and Channels.

Or do i have to log data using the TDMS Write functions for these variables then i can read those values in DIAdem reports.

I am slightly confused by your question. May I ask a few question to get a better picture of the issue?

1. You said that "I have Boolean and Numeric Shared Variables and Enabled Logging", May I ask if the "Boolean", "Numeric Shared Variables" and etc refers to variables in which software? As in, is this "Boolean" in LabVIEW Developent, or Flexlogger, or DSC(Datalogging and Supervisory Control), as National Instruments has many softwares, I am not sure which software you are pointing at.

2. "I can read using the MAX, with MAX i can just read the data but i want to do some mathmathics with my data,  how i can read my Logged Data using  DIAdem" I am assuming you can read using NIMAX by referring to "MAX", but again, what is the "data" you are reffering?(This goes back to my first question). I would appreciate greatly if you can attach a screenshots. And I am assuming "Logged Data" refers to data logged using Flexlogger?(again, refer back to my first question)

3. "In the help, i can see that we can read channel groups and channels." I am assuming the "Help" you mentioned is "Help in Diadem", but again, please confirm my assumption. Screenshots would be greatly appreciated.

May I ask what is the version of Diadem you are using?

Good morning Ping Jain,

1.  I am Using NI-Labview Industrial Monitoring Option (DSC) Module and Enabled Logging.

2. Yes, I am using NI MAX to read the above logged data in form of "trace" as attached but i cannot do Calculation, like total ON time for say Pump and Integral (Total Flow) in case of Flow Meter -FM1 (Analog Value.

3. Basically i want to generate reports for my Shared Variables, now i found that Dream Report (Ocean Data Systems) can help us rather than DIAdem.

Hi M_Atif,

Diadem does allow user to read, perform mathematics (by using alaysis function of diadem) and generate report(by first creating a report template in diadem) for your data. Just that you need to know where is the right place to click and access those function

There is a export to diadem function in the screenshots below. Have you tried using the function? If yes, did you faced any error or fail to read the data in diadem?

I would also like to understand if

1. you have used diadem previously, and are currently experiencing error with diadem. If yes, what is the error you are facing.

2. That or you are new to diadem and you are not sure where to go/click?

By having this understanding, I can point you to the right direction.
