Hi,
I was just wondering whether it is possible at all to export a .pdf from Diadem, the fields in which are editable.
Alternatively can one load an editable .pdf and populate it as a Report, only for it to remain editable afterwards?
Help is much appreciated.
Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim,
I don't know of any way to do either from DIAdem. Feel free to enter a suggestion/request at www.ni.com/diademideas

I know how to create an editable PDF report with Adobe product. But I do not know without external PDF editor, whether your request can be fulfilled.

Hi Tim,
DIAdem's PDF export functionality is clearly defined to take information in the various REPORT sheets, make an image file out of each sheet, and send those images to pages in a PDF file. Typically you create a new PDF file, so that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the PDF pages and the REPORT sheets, but it is also possible to append the REPORT sheet images to an existing PDF file.
DIAdem neither reads from or writes to editable fields in a PDF file.

Hi,
Thanks anyway. Resorted to an external program to do the pdf field filling.
Best regards,
