Hello Myocom,
Multiple Y-axes in VIEW are supported since DIAdem 11.1 (in DIAdem 11.0 the closest thing is Y-Axis [%] setting).
All Y-axes in DIAdem VIEW will appear on the LEFT side, there is no setting to make them appear on the left and right (see screenshot below).
You can arrange Y-axes in DIAdem REPORT with a lot more flexibility (multiple Y-axes on the left and/or right), in VIEW we can display Y-axes only on the left side of the axis systems.
I hope this helps,
Otmar

Hello myocom,
Since I have no understanding of your ultimate goal for this application, I will point you to an example that shows what you might be looking for:
This report was created using the example called: AnalyzeWaveformChannels from the DIAdem Help System. You can find out under "Help > Examples > Creating Scripts > Scripts > Calculating with Waveform Channels"
This example shows how to use the ChnPropValGet command to specify the minimum values and the maximum values of waveform channels. You use the PNo function to specify the line number of the extreme values and the ChDWfX variable to specify the X-value. DIAdem displays the result in a report.
DIAdem-VIEW does not display coordinates in the windows (only at the current cursor position). The correct place to do this is the REPORT window.
If you can be more specific about the application you are looking to solve, I would be happy to look into this further ...

myocom,
You can highlight random points in DIAdem as well.
Here is an example:
I created a REPORT Layout using the original data and the highlighted random points (I added the actual point Z-value above the point, they look strange when written at the exact point). I attached the layout for your reference.
The complete task took 3 minutes from loading the data to finishing and exporting the REPORT layout. If you have a REPORT layout already, this will take less than 30 seconds ...
I am not familiar with Matlab, so I can't compare how this works in DIAdem vs. Matlab. You can add the combine the complete process in a Script and it will automatically create this kind of report after simply selecting a few data points in VIEW and then pressing a button ...

Hello myocom,
It seem to me that we are slowly moving forward on your questions with each post here, but I still don't understand what exactly you want to do.
In order for me to be able to help you with your specific questions, it might be best to speak on the phone rather than post another 20 questions and answers.
Please call (888) 280-7645 (I assume you are in North America) and ask to be connected to me. That way we can speak directly and I can understand your task and provide a solution.
Best regards,
