How to automatically highlight a band in a 2D axis system of a report

Hi all.

Starting from a channel, my vbscript searches for a specific phenomenon and calculates two indexes. These 2 indexes contain the phenomenon I'm interested to.

Starting from the calculated indexes, I would like to highlight the phenomenta like this image:

How can I do it?
