How to use subversion for SUD development?

For reasons of maintainability, i would like to use a version management system, like subversion, to administrate our overgrown diadem project.
To get a meaningful result of the comparison of different versions it is neccessary to transform the scriptable user dialogs in to some kind of plain text.
Are there any tools to support clean development in larger diadem projects?

Hi diademi,

There is no functionality at this time to save a SUDialog in an ASCII/XML format.  From their inception, SUDialog files have been straight binary files.  We will take your request into consideration when planning for future versions-- this is not the first time a customer has asked for this, so I'd say your chances are pretty good.

Hello Brad!

This are pretty good news that after more than 5 years with this silly binary (IMHO) format and asking for a adequate solution many times, there is a chance to get a prudential SUD file format. Please force the R&D to change thisSmiley Wink

Hi,

and i thought i would be the only one missing the versionability of the scriptable user dialogs. Perhaps we will get this neccessary change faster if we all add a Product Suggestion.
So please, join me and add your suggestion under http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/EDA7C01C684ACB6286256FF0000238D5?OpenDocument .
