MF4 dataplugin problem in Diadem2020

Hi,

my colleague have problem with plugin MF4. She upgraded from Diadem2017 to 2020 version and cant load data with the plugin. (error that diadem cant load the data with plugin mf4 and no addtitional error info in logfile)

Her colleague has no problem with it in D2020.

She registered the usi and tried to reinstall the plugin with the .exe file. the folder in "ProgramData" is empty and it tells her that "no software will be installed", but she wants to install it.

Do you know what we should do or check to make it working? thanks

I tried it myself and after the screen telling me "There are no notifications for your product"  i got next window with "accepting licence..." and i got it installed.

I didnt found it in windows programs (add or remove installed programs), how can we remove/uninstall the plugin to try to reinstall it.

her installer is missing the step to install it.

I think she doesnt have it installed properly(as seen on the first screen her version is missing), but we dont know how to force the install.

The install folder has changed to

"C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\USI\DataPlugins\MDF4"

and

"C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\USI\DataPlugins\MDF4"

the files should be installed here.

But the registration of the plugin failed on the machine. 😞

Could you please try to double click

"C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\USI\DataPlugins\MDF4\uspMDF4.uri"

and check if this repairs the plugin.

If this does not work and the folders of the start exists please try the following:

• Open the DataPlugin Dialog in DIAdem 2020
  
• Import the uri file
  

  "C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\USI\DataPlugins\MDF4\uspMDF4.uri"​

• Did the files exist at the new position?
• Did double click the uri work?
• If necessary: Did register with DIAdem work?

If you need to uninstall the plugin the NI Package manager is needed.
