Hello,
I wanted to use DIADEM data plug-in for MatLab in order to load files in MatLab format version 4. I downloaded a plug.in from the NI- web site www.ni.com/example/29178/en and installed it as it was described. The installation went OK , and whej I start DIADEM the plug-in is recognized in the menu "settings"->options-> extensions->DataPlugins. But: I cant load a MatLab file(s) which I have to investigate.
I got a description of Matlab format and wrote a small LabView application which converts matLab file into tdms, this file can be read by DIADEm. Why can't DIADEm read a MatAlb file using a plug-in? I got the same results with DIADEm version 20122 and with DIADEm version 2012.
I attach an example of a matlab file, which can't be read by DIADEm and would like to know, what is the reason. I also attach an error message which I got by DIADEM when I try to read a Matlab file.
Thanks in advance for your help.
By posting I noticed, that I can't attach a matlab file, because it has a "forbitten" attachement, now the message went without a matlab example:-(.

Hi pericles,
We'd be happy to investigate why the MatLab DataPlugin failed to load your *.mat data file. Please rename and post the file or email it directly to me at brad.turpin@ni.com
