OROS NVgate DataPlugin

Has anyone used the OROS_NVGate DataPlugin (https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/dataplugins/download.oros-dataplugin-for-oros-nvgate.html) on DIAdem 2017 or later?  

I can't seem to get the installer to run and the error message isn't extremely descriptive:

Hi Chris,

I get that message whenever the DataPlugin is already installed in my operating system.  After unregistering it from DIAdem, go to the "Add/Remove Programs" list in Windows, select "National Instrument Software", then choose to uninstall the DataPlugin from that dialog.  After this you will be able to run the installer all the way through.
