Problem with DAQmx and Diadem 8.1

Hi ...

I am trying to use Diadem 8.1 (the only version we have here) with a DAQpad-6015 (USB). For using the box I installed DAQmx 8.7. Then the box was found and I found it in MAX (measurement and automation explorer).

So far - so good.

No I started Diadem and after 20 seconds Diadem closes without any warning. I could work these 20 seconds. Then I uninstalled the DAQmx and Diadem works fine again.

Can you tell me which driver I could use for the DAQpad-6015 in combination with Diadem 8.1.

Hi Steffen,

this is a known problem with DAQmx 8.7.(1) . It should be solved in version 8.8 and above.

Currently you can downgrade to DAQmx 8.6.1 driver.


To remove DAQmx completely goto System Control -> Software -> National Instruments -> Add/Remove and remove:
 
 - NI-DAQmx 8.7.1
 - NI Measurement & Automation Explorer 4.x
 - Traditional NI-DAQ


After that you can install DAQmx 8.6.1:
