SQL and Citadel

Hi,

I need to obtain the last date available from my Citadel 5 database and I would like to use SQL in order to do that.

Is this possible?

Yes, I happen to know that this has been possible for many years now.  Somehow your email ended up in the DIAdem Discussion Forum, though, so I don't have detailed information to help you with this.  Please ask the LabVIEW DSC Discussion Forum for how-to information on this.

The reason this topic is in DIAdem section is that I want to use SQL query in my DIAdem script.

Hi Egor,

Fair enough.  I'm happy to help you create a DIAdem VBScript or custom dialog to run whatever SQL query you need and pull the data back into DIAdem.  What I can't help with is setting up the ODBC layer for Citadel and figuring out what SQL query eds to be run.  If you can send me the SQL query, I'll help you integrate it into DIAdem.
